Ace UCEED 2023 Exam: Ultimate Guide for Candidates on Exam Day

UCEED 2023 exam is just round the corner and as a candidate, it’s essential to ensure that you are well-prepared and aware of all the guidelines for the exam day. Every exam could be a nerve-wracking experience, but with the right preparation and mindset, you can walk into the exam room with confidence. So here are the most important things that you need to know before appearing for the UCEED 2023 exam:

Reporting & Registration Time:

  • Candidates are required to report to the examination center at 07:00 Hours (Indian Time).
  • Arrive at the examination centre before 09:00 AM (IST) for verification and biometric identification.
  • The examination will consist of two parts: PART A for 2 hours 30 minutes and PART B for 30 minutes.
  • Exam will commence from 09:00 AM & end by 12:00 noon.
    Candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall until the end of the exam, except in cases of a medical emergency.
  • It’s important to note that candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination center after the commencement of the examination.

What to Carry on UCEED 2023 Exam Day:

The Part A section of UCEED will be a computer-based test and Part B will be Pen and Paper. However, candidates are advised to carry a pen or pencil for the test. Additionally, candidates are also advised to carry the following documents to their UCEED exam center 2023:

  • UCEED 2023 Admit Card: This is a mandatory document that must be carried to the test center. Candidates without a valid copy of their UCEED admit card will not be allowed to give the exam.
  • Photo ID: Candidates are recommended to carry a valid and original photo ID proof to the exam center. Acceptable documents include:

PAN card

Driving Licence

Voter ID

Passport

Aadhaar Card

Hall ticket/Admit Card of the Board Examination with photo

College/School identity card

➡Certificate from the School/College Principal (As given in Appendix 1)

NB: Blank sheets and scribble pads will be provided for rough work.

What NOT to Carry on UCEED 2023 Exam Day:

Candidates are not allowed to carry the following items inside the UCEED exam hall:

  • Electronic devices such as mobiles, smartphones, digital/ smart watches, calculators, tablets, etc
  •  Abacus
  •  Slide rule
  •  Logbooks
  •  Study material of any type
  •  Geometry box

Guidelines for PwD Candidates:

  • PwD Candidate availing compensatory time without a Valid PwD certificate (as per rule), cannot be rolled back to their birth category (OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST).
  • Compensatory time allotted to PwD candidates for Part-A & Part-B cannot be interchanged/adjusted.

UCEED 2023 exam is a crucial step towards achieving your academic and career goals. It’s important for candidates to be well-prepared and to familiarize themselves with the guidelines for the exam day. Also practice drawing questions (previous year) each day within the 30 minute time limit. Reduce this each day slowly by a minute or two so that you know how to perform under crunch situations.
