What is NATA?
NATA or National Aptitude Test in Architecture is an examination that measures the applicant’s aptitude for an Architecture degree. NATA is one of the two qualifying exams (the other being JEE Paper 2) for candidates who want to do B.Arch in India.

How to apply for NATA?
Application is to be filled up ONLINE at the NATA portal of www.nata.in. Candidates need to visit the portal, generate username & password by entering basic details and then CLICK the requisite link.
What is the eligibility criteria to get admission into B.Arch (Architecture) in India?
As per Council of Architecture there are two criteria each candidate needs to fulfill:
Criteria 1: Qualifying exam
- A pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics (compulsory) and at least 45% marks in aggregate.
- OR
- A pass in 10+3 Diploma with Maths (compulsory) and at least 45% marks in aggregate.
Criteria 2: Aptitude Test
Qualify for an aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e. JEE) or NATA.
